TabBroom support
Set up a domain list, check what TabBroom found, then decide when to tidy up.
How to use TabBroom
- Open TabBroom's toolbar popup and choose Settings.
- Enter domains you are comfortable closing, one per line, then save. For example:
example.com. - Return to the popup and review the matching tab counts.
- Choose Close tabs when you are ready. TabBroom runs only when you use the popup.
What happens to pinned and active tabs?
TabBroom keeps pinned tabs and the active tab in each browser window open, even if they match a domain in your list.
Can it close empty or new tabs?
Yes, optionally. In Settings, turn on Close empty and new tabs to include supported blank and browser new-tab pages. This option is off by default.
How do I remove TabBroom?
Open your browser's extensions page, find TabBroom, and choose Remove. Removing the extension also removes its locally stored settings from that browser profile.
How do I get help?
Email tabbroom@t27.au and describe what happened, including your browser and the steps you took. Please do not send private page contents or sensitive URLs.
